As the former VP Travel Services of People To People Ambassador Programs I would like to convey how valuable and successful out partnership was with Nomad Travel. I was lucky enough to work alongside this prestigious company for almost 9 years and was bombarded with accolades of their accomplishment from my team who had established a partnership four years prior to my joining the company. Douglas and the Nomad Team have amazing creative abilities and are able to design, procure and operate exclusive educational programs that added immense value to our program catalogue. In addition to establishing a unique relationship with a First Nation community to provide our students with an authentic exclusive tipi camp experience, they also wrote and printed an accompanying workbook of the highest quality. Our traveling teachers were highly complimentary of the grade appropriate and detailed content and eluded to the Canadian guides being among the best we provided. The Nomad team operated with amazing integrity, dedication and flexibility supporting our organization to some of the most highly evaluated programs we offered. As is to be expected, traveling young children presented an array of challenges each year. Douglas and his team could always be relied upon to partner with us to find an effective solution. Their attention to detail was impeccable and their commitment to superior service was truly superb. If an opportunity arose, I would not hesitate to engage Nomad Travel for my destination management services in Canada.

"As an educational interpreter, I have had the opportunity to travel as a DelegationLeader with the People to People Student Ambassadors Programs during the summer. During the past five years I have traveled to many different countries and experienced many different cultures. The Wonders of the Canadian West program has been my favorite trip to date. The rich Native culture along with the adventure activities and breathtaking scenery have combined to make this a truly wonderful experience. The Delegation Managers at Nomad Travel strive to make the trip a unique and memorable experience for both students and leaders. Their interest and enthusiasm in the program draws in even the most reluctant of students or leaders. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who gets the opportunity and look forward to a chance to do it again."
–Ann Forte, Teacher
"As an experienced leader with People to People Student Ambassador Programs, I would like to express my gratitude for an educational, exciting and well-organized tour of the Wonders of the Canadian West. The Delegation Managers were prepared, which enabled them to inform our group of important historical facts and landmarks. As the itinerary needed adjusting, it was done so smoothly, with no concern to the students or leaders. The Delegation Managers maintained a positive, energetic attitude and I would certainly enjoy traveling with them in the future. I highly recommend the professional tour services of Nomad Travel Ltd."
– Rhonda Collins, Teacher
"The activities on this program were the best of the programs I have experienced. The variety, the frequency, and the planning easily surpassed the previous four trips I have taken. The hands on participation of the tour organizer as one of the guides made the trip flexible."
– Jerry Hayes, Teacher
"This was a great trip. I think I benefited from this trip as much as the kids did. I gained a lot of self-confidence and made a lot of new friends."
– Brandy Roberts, Principal
"Wonders of the Canadian West was an adventure I will never forget thanks to the active and educational itinerary that allowed me to really get to see, understand and learn about Western Canada. And my true statement without putting in mumbo jumbo: "I loved every minute of it. I was ready to spend another few weeks there and was not ready to go home when I was scheduled to. Great Delegation Managers make all the difference!" (OK great kids help too)
–Joan Bade, Teacher
"Nomad Travel provided the leaders and students of People to People with activities that were educational, unique and fun! The two Canadian Delegation Managers provided round the clock knowledge throughout the trip."
–Paul Spence, Administrator
We have just spent the last 3 hours listening to Robert speak so enthusiastically and passionately about the trip to Canada. We were sure it would be a great experience for him to see somewhere different and he has always been enthusiastic about travel. What I don't think we appreciated until he came home is just how much this trip would give him in terms of a deeper worldview. A view of natural landscapes, wildlife, and environmental consciousness; ideals of social justice, both for today and the way history tells us how people have been treated; the richness of Indigenous cultures and their ways of knowing, particularly related to place; the interconnectedness of place, people, landscape, and biodiversity. And also for the way groups work, the importance of tolerance and for watching out for each other. And for time to think deeply about the world.

“Douglas, you ensured our school's first study tour of the Canadian Rockies was an outstanding success. The thirty students and three teachers were captivated and enthralled with each day's activities. Your professional expertise is outstanding, but it was your good grace and genuine warmth toward us that added to the special memories we returned with. Personally, I can't wait to return with another group in 2019!”
